When I first started this blog, it was my intention that when I reached the end of the series, I would just keep right on reading and writing, but clearly that didn’t quite work out. After a year of keeping up with weekly deadlines and writing a collective 55,000 words on The Dark Tower, I was sufficiently burnt out and the thought of taking another spin around the wheel of Ka was just too much. I needed to take a break.

Still though, I’ve felt bad letting this blog lie dormant all these years and for that I cry your pardon. However, despite my neglect, I am proud to say this site has not gone fallow and along with an apology I also owe a big thankee-sai to everyone who has been reading my old posts in the absence of any new ones. As always, having any kind of readership, constant or not, means the world to me. 

The good news is, after all these years, I have once again heard the call of the tower and I am officially reviving The Church of the Cosmic Turtle! But there’s a twist… Instead of writing and posting my thoughts on each week’s chapters here on the site, I decided to switch up the medium. I am thrilled to invite you all to listen to my new Dark Tower podcast!

Keeping to the format of the original blog (splitting the series into 52  segments to ensure one turn of Ka’s wheel takes exactly one year to complete) my co-host and I are making our way along the path of the beam once more, diving deep into each week’s pages and discussing what we can learn from this text that means so much to us.
